The result of the orthodontic treatment depends both on the precise data analysis from complex examination resulting in the treatment plan and the proper technique choice during the treatment. Undesirable growth after the treatment can cause another problem as well. A false move leading to the treatment failure can be made at any stage of treatment. Various mistakes in diagnosis as well as unsufficient respect for skeletal and dental parametres leading to unsuitable treatment plan will be demostrated.

Next part of the lecture will be devoted to the interdisciplinary treatment problems, where too complicated orthodontics is often provided. Mistakes during the finishing will be documented at the end.
