Complications in Orthognatic Surgery.

PD Dr. Dr. Meikel A.Vesper

Keynote Lecture - October 16, 2015

Orthognatic surgery is technically difficult and the team in the operation theatre must have a lot of experience. Before surgery we need an exact preparation step by step equal in which way the operation would be planned. We must speak with the patient a few times about the elective operation and he needs time to think about it. During the operation there are many pit falls possible. In my presentation I will show you step by step to avoid them. If you get during the operation complications, we will talk about the solutions. Even after the operation we could find problems. We will look at my experience and my faults in about 21 years of orthodontic surgery.
