Prof. Ing. Jaroslav Petr, DrSc. is the chief scientific personality in the reproductive biology and the livestock biotechnology in Czech republic. He is lecturer at the Czech University of Life Sciences, Prague, the Faculty of Science Charles University in Prague, the Faculty of Science University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, the Faculty of Science Masaryk University in Brno. He is the chairman of the Czech commitee for genetically modified organisms. He popularizes natural sciences.
