Alberto Caprioglio, DDS, MS

He obtained the DDS in 1988 and in 1993 he got the MS in Orthodontics at the University of Pavia. From 2002 to 2004 he has been assistant professor of orthodontics and pediatric dentistry and from 2005 he is associate professor. Actually he is chairman of the orthodontitc section at the University of Insubria in Varese. He has published more than 150 articles and author of 6 books and co-author in other 6. In 2002 and 2013 he received the Annual Research Award of the Italian Society of Orthodontics. He has lectured internationally and he is member of WFO, EOS, SIDO and president-elect of the Italian Board of Orthodontics. He is Active Member of the Angle Society of Europe. His specials interests are restricted to early orthodontics treatments, dental eruption, dental traumatology and on 3D reconstruction of maxilla/mandible associated with oxygen desaturation index.
