PROF. STEPHEN WILLIAMS

Prof. Williams became titul of dentist B.D.S. in 1967 (University of Bristol, England) and in 1974 accept the title of dentist D.D.S. also in Denmark. Specialization in orthodontics ended in 1982. In 2007 he received his PhD (DMedSc – Katowice, Poland). After running a private practice in England, he also worked as a children‘s dentist (Sonderborg, Denmark). In 1976 he joined the post-graduate studies in orthodontics (Aarhus, Denmark). When he successfully completed his studies, he was employed full-time as an assistant professor and after it as professor and at the end as head of the department. He lead a private orthodontic practice (first Horsens, Denmark; today Weiner Neustadt, Austria). Actively involved in teaching graduate students: teaching part-time (Aarhus, Denmark), Professor (Vienna, Austria; Bratislava, Slovakia; Krakow, Poland), a consultant in the field of orthodontics (Vejle, Denmark), assistant professor (Bratislava, Slovakia). He lectured over 250 courses and lectures in different countries: Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Iceland, France, Belgium, England, USA, United Arab Emirates, Albania, Kosovo and Ukraine. He holds a range of honorary membership: Orthodontic Society of Ukraine, Association of dentists in Poland. He worked as vice president of the Danish Society of Orthodontic Specialists. Participates in teaching graduate students in orthodontics as an investigator (Aarhus University, Faculty of Dentistry, Aarhus, Denmark). He received Gloria Ortodontiae medal (Poland).
