MUDR. DANIEL SVOBODA

My name is Daniel Svoboda. I was born at Česká Lípa on 23rd July, 1968. I spent my childhood in a small town of Mládí Jablonné v Podještědí. From there I moved to Roudnice nad Labem and then to Ústí nad Labem where I studied at grammar school. This move was driven by my active engagement in cycling. After I finished the grammar school I enrolled to the First Medical Faculty of the Charles University in Prague to study dentistry. I graduated in 1991 and went to work in Nový Bor. Since 1993 I have been based at Roudnice nad Labem (Labe is the Elbe in Czech and it seems as if my life has been somehow attached to it) and since 1996 I have been the head of a private surgery there. The dentists and dental hygienists provide comprehensive dental care with a great emphasis placed on general prevention and prevention of oral cavity diseases. I also enhanced my skills in dentistry during study visits and congresses in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, United Kingdom and US. My hobbies include cycling and reading. I also love walks in the countryside.
