Hans Ulrik Paulsen
Dr. Hans Ulrik Paulsen received his dental quali? cation in 1965 from
Royal Dental College, Copenhagen. In 1971 he quali? ed as specialist in
orthodontics, and in 1999 gained his doctor degree Doctor of Science (the
highest degree in accademics in Scandinavia) from Karolinska Institutet,
Stockholm University, Sweden. He is former Associate professor, Royal
Dental College, Department of Orthodontics, Arhus, Denmark, and Visiting professor, Karolinska Institutet, Department of Orthodontics, Stockholm, Sweden. Dr. Paulsen is Life Member of the European Orthodontic
Society (EOS), and Honorary Member of the Societa Italiana di Ortodonzia
(SIDO). He is Member of Editorial Boards of several orthodontic and dental journals. Dr. Paulsen has 154 scienti? c speaker invitations at international symposiums and congresses, 79 postgraduate courses in clinical
research, and 29 original publications and chapters including the topics:
tooth autotransplantation in orthodontic treatment, bone remodelling in
the TMJ in response to Herbst treatment, long-term study of changes of
deciduous molars with hypodontia of permanent successors.
