Doc. MUDr. Lenka Roubalíková, Ph.D.
In 1980 she graduated from the Medical Faculty of the J. E. Purkyně University
in Brno in dental studies and worked as district dentist, expert assistant
of the Continuing Education and Training Institute of Medical Doctors and
Pharmacists in Prague, head of a Dental Centre of the Medical Staff Continuing
Education and Training Institute and deputy head of a Dental Clinic
in Brno. Currently Lenka Roubalíková is associate professor at the Medical
Faculty of the Masaryk University in Brno and in her own private practice
works as a dentist.
She completed her Phase I and II dentistry postgraduate studies and
a supplementary teacher training at the Faculty of Education of the Masaryk
University in Brno. She completed doctoral studies at the Palacký
University in Olomouc and subsequently defended her habilitation thesis
entitled “Composite materials in front teeth aesthetics” at the Medical
Faculty of the Masaryk University in Brno and became associate professor.
She has written 60 publications in extenso, of which 48 as main author
and has produced 126 articles and papers in total. She has delivered over
100 lectures both at home and abroad. She is chairperson of the scientific
council of the Czech Dental Chamber. Lenka Roubalíková works as scientific
secretary of the Czech Endodontic Society and representative
of the CR in the European Society of Endodontology. She is member of
branch councils of the Medical Faculty in Olomouc and Brno, respectively,
as well as member of a branch council of the Higher Education Development
Fund. She does reviews for renowned Czech and Slovak magazines,
is member of the editorial council of the Česká stomatologie magazine
and the Praktické zubní lékařství magazine. She has completed several
internships and courses abroad and holds certificates that enable her to
lead courses in endodoncy and aesthetical dental medicine. She has been
granted the prestigious Dental Progress Award three times. She is active
both as dentist and university teacher at the Medical Faculty and her professional
interests lie mainly in endodoncy, adhesive materials and miniinvasive
treatment techniques including laser. She lectures in the CR and
abroad and leads a number of specialist courses. Over the past five years
she has been guarantor of student competition in Vanini’s anatomical
stratification technique at the Medical Faculty of the Masaryk University.
