Heredity of Orthodontic anomalies

Long-standing research together with therapeutic experience of generations of orthodontists and dentists confirm the role of genetic component in the development of anomalies, with which treatment we deal every day.

The author presents a survey of contemporary knowledge; she informs about her research and observations results as well.

She emphasizes that the aetiology of the anomaly could modify our approach to a therapy as well as prevention.
