Mariánské Lázně

Mariánské Lázně is a jewel among the spa towns of Western Bohemia, preserving its unique charm even after centuries of existence. Elevated to the status of a town by Emperor Franz Joseph I in 1865, the spa owes its international reputation primarily to its natural healing resources.

Experience the beneficial effects of the local mineral springs, which are used in the treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system, kidney diseases, respiratory conditions, and other health issues. Take a stroll along the Main Colonnade dating from the late 19^th century and admire the magnificent spa architecture that evokes the atmosphere of a bygone era. Allow yourself to be enchanted by the regular performances of the Singing Fountain, or visit the Municipal Museum or the theatre. The surrounding countryside offers excellent opportunities for hiking and cycling; you may also visit Park Boheminium with its models of Czech landmarks or enjoy a round of golf.

The Congress will take place within the unique Mariánské Lázně Health Spa Resort complex. For the optimal comfort of guests, several historic spa hotels—Nové Lázně, Centrální Lázně, Maria Spa, Hvězda, Imperial, and Neapol—have been interconnected by underground and above-ground corridors and promenades. Through this integration, the largest historic spa resort in Central Europe has been created.

Congress participants may use the services of all interconnected hotels without the need to go outside. After the conclusion of the scientific programme, participants may take advantage of the exceptional wellness facilities available throughout the entire resort.

The Congress will be held in the lecture halls of the Společenský dům (Casino), which will also host the Presidential Evening.
